About Rachel Lee Rare Books
I have been in the antiquarian book trade since 1978, spending about 12 years in auction houses in Bristol and Swindon, and then as a director of Thoemmes Antiquarian Books/Thoemmes Press in Bristol. At the end of 1998 Herb Tandree and I bought the stock of Thoemmes Antiquarian Books when the company decided to specialise solely in publishing. I am now based in private premises between Bristol and Bath, about 120 miles west of London. I would be pleased to see visitors, by prior appointment. Herb Tandree Philosophy Books , has a large stock of secondhand philosophy books, and is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Rachel Lee Rare Books stock concentrates on philosophy – antiquarian, rare, out-of-print, but also encompasses theology, economics, sociology, psychology, science.
I occasionally exhibit at the London Olympia ABA book fair, held in June of each year
